STM Double Column Machines offer Exceptional rigidity and High Accuracy in Larger component machining. The exceptional rigidity of Machine is due to the cross beam structure of double column machine supported by single piece base casting and heavily ribbed column casting with strong cross beams to handle heavy cutting load.

Double Column Machines are used in Industries like, Heavy engineering, aerospace, die and mould industry, automotive and more, when the component sizes exceed the VMC Machining capability. Mostly components size more than 2 meter and are much heavier in length needs double column machining.

Double Column machines with multiple spindle heads can access all parts of the component efficiently, so the part re-setup is largely minimized, hence the re-setup errors are minimized and accuracy is maintained across operations
